Re: How to keep the identical sound in a sea of other sounds
I've seen that, but it keeps referring to things like 'vocals' and 'panning' and 'center'. I don't have vocals, and I don't know what the other two things are. Re: Using Silence Finder in batch processing does not work
Silence Finder is not really useful in Chains because all it does is to create labels (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/sile ... ml#silence) but then you can't do anything with the labels in Chains.

Re: Spectrogram and mp3 quality conflict
Further to my previous reply, here is a short sample of white noise encoded at 64 kbps CBR with the low-pass filter disabled. noise.mp3 The LAME command for this was: lame --noreplaygain -q 0 -b 64 --cbr --lowpass -1 <input file> <output file> and the file properties: Format : MPEG Audio Format vers...

Re: Spectrogram and mp3 quality conflict
I thought a spectrogram would show where the cutoff frequency is for the mp3 Yes, you can see in the spectrogram where the "cutoff" is (the "low-pass filter" frequency), but the low-pass filter is an option that some encoders allow you to override. By reducing the frequency band...

Re: How to keep the identical sound in a sea of other sounds
Effect > Vocal Reduction and Isolation Here's the link: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_vocal_removal_and_isolation.html It is sometimes possible (but perhaps not legal) to deconstruct the game files and digitally extract (rip) the audio data. Of course you shouldn't attempt this if the...
