Re: Consider a project of only unmodified tracks to be "clea
If we can only implement one choice I think it would have to be "never prompt" because otherwise it won't fully stop the "complaints". Conversely, "never prompt" is far more likely to lead to complaints about lost data. Personally I'd rather have people complain about ...

Re: Consider a project of only unmodified tracks to be "clea
Unfortunately, with the prompt to save (the "nag") removed, this bug occurs much more frequently (about 90% of the time on my machine): http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1545 I don't know why this happens, I guess it's a race condition and 'not stopping to nag' is tipping th...

The current version of Audacity is 2.1.2. You can get it here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/

Re: File Exists -- confirm option defaults to YES
I think that's the opposite of what the OP is requesting. They want Audacity to be safer when exporting.waxcylinder wrote:One way to make the "extra clicks" go away is to make this Yes/No overwrite dialog permanently dismissable with a "Don't show this message again".

Re: Consider a project of only unmodified tracks to be "clea
Thanks for the code hints Edgar. That's saved me a lot of searching. I'm not keen on using the "short description" to identify the undo event, because it could be a translated string (and for "Import" I think it is). Even if we use translated strings where necessary, it still mak...

Re: How To recovery file recording
You don't say which version of Audacity you are using, but in the current 2.1.2 version (available here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/) automatic recovery is highly effective and rarely fails. the file naming it's not just a numerical counter, but it looks like a random hexadecimal c...

Re: Chains and resampling
Not with Audacity, but there are other programs that can, such as SoX.
There's an example bash script for batch processing with SoX here that may help: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 51#p214951

That's what is being complained about, but I got the impression that you were not happy for it to be changed because:Gale Andrews wrote:But defaulting to Yes is inherently unsafe.

Nice set of curves.

Re: Submit your EQ Curves
Congratulations
That looks about right.
For completeness, it might be nice if you included a non-inverted version. Also, perhaps tidy those empty lines near the bottom and indent the tags with tabs like the EQDefaultCurves.xml file? (Ooh I'm so fussy
