Re: Cannot Install FFMPEG
WHY SO MANY STEPS Part of the problem is that Windows does not allow anchors in links from an application. The root of the problem is that we have to use a 3rd party download site due to uncertainties over patents / licenses in some countries. These are the official Audacity instructions for instal...

Re: Wasted Space in Default Toolbar Layout
I have not yet looked at it - but yes - that is my intention if it is given a number - that makes it easier to track and to justify. :D I'll make you a deal ;) have a look at it, and if you think you can fix it, I'll log it as a "P5 Enh" and allocate it to you. Does that sound reasonable?

Re: Wasted Space in Default Toolbar Layout
Is this really a problem? Once you arrange the toolbars the way you like, does Audacity not remember the layout? There is possibly a "bug" here in that the Device toolbar does not automatically append to the end of the Play at Speed toolbar when there is room to do so. My guess is that thi...

Re: Resample-Macro
I can't seem to find where it might be possible to resample an audio file within a project using a macro. Is it possible to do this? Do you mean that you want to change the sample rate of an audio file? If so, then use the "SetProject:" command to change the "Project Rate" prior...
