Re: Cant open file error 7 PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!

It is helpful if you quote the exact error message in your post, but I assume that it said there were invalid characters at line 7. The problem is this bit: <wavetrack name="No chill - Playboi Carty Try changing that to: <wavetrack name="No chill - Playboi Carty Be ...

Re: ExportWAV using FFmpeg won't export 24 bit

is this a known bug using FFmprg? It's a "limitation". The only export options that are currently supported in Chains are those that are listed in the interface. FFmpeg is not currently supported at all in Chains, but I shall log your interest in this feature on the Audacity wiki "Fe...

Re: No problem in Win7, totally useless in Mint 17.3

Re: No problem in Win7, totally useless in Mint 17.3

In your searching, avoid old posts about hacking the sound system and removing PulseAudio.
PulseAudio is tightly integrated into the system these days. Attempting to remove it will break your system badly.

Re: No problem in Win7, totally useless in Mint 17.3

Audacity works great for me on Mint 17.3 LTS Cinnamon. I use ALSA in Audacious and obviously in Audacity too, can't change it even if I wanted to Audacity only shows hosts that are installed and running. For example, if you want to use Jack Audio System, then Jack should be started before launching ...

Re: Flat line recording UFO 202

Re: So long for now

I guess you've not seen my reply in your other topic: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=322708#p322708 If you're too frustrated to deal with this now, get the new version of Audacity when it is released in a week or so. The Gatekeeper issue has been mostly resolved. I think it unfortunat...
