Re: First-In-First-Out' (FIFO), fix length recording

or there are work arounds to achieve the same effect. If your computer supports running two recording applications at the same time (any recording application) then you may be able to automate recording and saving using an automation scripting application such as Autohotkeys. Re: First-In-First-Out' (FIFO), fix length recording

Please let me know if this feature already exist and I overlooked it, No, this feature is not available in Audacity, so I've moved this topic to the "adding features" board. Please note that Audacity does not record as a normal audio file. Audacity works with "projects" that com...

It's a false positive and should clear when Trend Micro update their database. In the meantime you can download Audacity directly from the official download partner FossHub:

Re: Chordino does not remain 'Enabled'

I presume that you are referring to this plug-in: http://www.isophonics.net/nnls-chroma Chordino is a Vamp plug-in. On Windows, Vamp plug-ins should be installed in: %%PROGRAMFILES%%\Vamp Plug-ins (i.e. a directory named "Vamp Plug-ins" within the system Program Files directory, however lo...

Re: Markers tracks steals shorcuts

The behaviour should depend on which track has "focus". The track with focus is the "current" track - it has a yellow border. The Up/Down cursor keys move focus from one track to another. If a label track has focus, then that label track should get keyboard input and behave as yo...

Re: Effects Error "Could not load the settings below"

Re: Apocalypse voice

1) Learn how to mimic Oscar Isaac
2) Learn how to act the part of a mega baddie
3) Make a good clean recording of yourself (or someone else) mimicking Oscar Isaac playing the part of a mega baddie
4) Boost the bass a bit and add a bit of reverb.

We can't help with steps 1 to 3. :(

Re: Every saved project has orphan blocks on ubuntu 16.10

When you get that warning, it means that there's one or more audio data file (AU "block files") present in the search path. There are many reasons why this may occur. If it does happen, then the safest thing to do is to use the default option "Continue without deleting". Check th...

Re: Slide pitch with LINEAR rate

Oh, sorry, I said log in relation to how many semitones it changes. But in relation to the frequency, it's probably linear as you said. I think that makes sense. Crossed posting. I was thinking that you wanted linear rate of frequency change. The images that I posted show linear vertical scale, and...
