Re: Bug Audio Balance
Why this has not been solved ? Audacity is a community project. It is free, open source software, primarily developed an supported by volunteers in their spare time. You've not fixed it in 2 years, and neither has anyone else. I can't reproduce the problem, so I'm out, but it looks to me like a pro...

Re: download blocked by Trend Micro
Update: I've just received an email from Trend Micro to say that they have reclassified the download pages as "safe", so I'll close this thread now.

Re: Preset populate controls?
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but controls in Nyquist plug-ins are not "interactive" - they can't update on the fly. Choices have to be explicitly written into the code. Nyquist can read and write files, so perhaps you could achieve what you want by reading/writing a configuration fi...

Re: print out manual
Hi everybody, is there a way to print out the complete user manual? No convenient way to print more than a page at a time. Single pages can be printed from most web browsers. The up-side is that you've saved wasting $50 of ink on something that you're unlikely to read cover to cover - the manual is...

Re: Fail to replace Audacity.
If you want a version of Audacity that can be run without being installed, get the ZIP version from here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ and extract the contents of the zip archive to a location that you have read/write permission. Please also note that "nightly" versions ar...

Re: Fail to replace Audacity.
Installed applications should not be manually deleted, you should uninstall them.

Re: Can't find "Sound Finder"
Ensure you installed Audacity correctly and are not running it from the DMG: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=75660 . If that does not help, it is probably Gatekeeper interfering, so you will need to do the following: Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app. Copy the below te...

Re: Can't find "Sound Finder"
Have a look in the Generate menu. Do you have "Pluck" and "Risset Drum"?
If not, then check to see if "Nyquist" effects are enabled in Preferences > Effects.
