Re: FIXING IMA WAV ADPCM file
It seems to be badly corrupted, but you may be able to get something from it. Here it is converted to a standard (PCM) WAV (221.42MB): https://www.sendspace.com/file/gh0y5q

Re: Focusrite Saphire 14. Can't select correct input
Does anyone know if it's now possible to map inputs on the latest version of Audacity ? There is no input mapping in Audacity 2.1.3. On Linux the Jack Audio System can be used to map inputs and outputs. There are a couple of versions of Jack Audio System for mac, but from a quick Google search they...

Re: Report a Bug ... v. 2.1.3
the SC4 effect output meters are not lighting up! As far as I'm aware, SC4 does not have output meters. Also the declicker and other effects go through this when opened but then seem okay.. That can happen the first time that an effect is used after updating from a very old version of Audacity if t...

Works for me, but this is getting a bit off-topic here, so we can discus these details on the QA mailing list.Gale Andrews wrote:Those three locations were unexpected to me, and Audacity does not see Nyquist plugins in /home/gale/plug-ins AFAICT. Note tested beyond that.

Re: AM Demodulation
is it as simple as multiplying by the carrier frequency? Pretty much so. You would probably also want to use a low pass filter to remove the carrier after demodulating. Long hand (version 4 syntax) ;version 4 (setf cf 8000) ; the carrier frequency (let ((demod (mult *track* (hzosc cf)))) (lowpass8 ...

Re: ACX requests all files replaced of at least 192 bit rate
The recording channel shows MONO. Good. The MP3 will also be mono. Those "stereo mode" settings only apply if the project is stereo. I will have to go back and from the WAV file save a NEW MP3 file. Correct? Yes, either the WAV file or the original Audacity project, but do NOT re-encode t...

Re: ACX requests all files replaced of at least 192 bit rate
Select "Constant" as the bit-rate mode, then 192 kbps as the "Quality".
Unless you have a really good reason not to, your recordings should be mono.

What's not working? Does your boombox play the files?ssikes225 wrote:Nothing seems to be working.
"AUP" will not work because they are not audio files (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/auda ... jects.html)
