Re: Noise reduction causes entire recording to turn into sta

Does this happen with one particular file / project, or with everything?

Can you give steps for how to reproduce the problem?

Re: How to move a labled "song" within an project

What's the job? Are you making an audio CD? If so, it doesn't matter what order the tracks are in when you export, you just need to put the tracks in the order that you want in the CD burning application. For most CD burning apps it's just a matter of dragging the tracks up/down the list of tracks.

You mean in the device toolbar?
What is selected as "host"?

If you select MME as host and the USB device as the recording input in the device toolbar, what happens when you try to record?

There isn't a version 2.12
Perhaps that's a typo, or perhaps you've not got a genuine version of Audacity.

The current 2.1.3 version of Audacity is available here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/

and it then goes on to tell you to use "Export" if you want an audio file that will play in other apps.

It's a "warning" not an "error".

Re: Stereo Pan - Reduces Track Volume?

I think maybe both may agree that there may be some drop in volume when panning. What exactly do you mean by "volume"? Are you talking about peak level, RMS level, subjective loudness, or something else? The Audacity Reverb effect will generally increase the peak level, if "Wet only&...

Re: recreating the sound of a granular sampler

i'm assuming some of the code was the part that clipped the positive side of the waveform? Yes, the S-MIN command. A quick explanation of the code: *TRACK* is the selected audio. If it's from a mono track then it is simply a "sound", but if it's from a stereo track then it's an array of t...

As Gale wrote - ensure that "loop back" is off. See p77 of the H5 manual.
