Re: How to draw a waveform faster in audacity 2.1.3?
The Draw tool is written in C++, so if you want to modify it you will need to learn a bit of C++ programming. Nyquist plug-ins do not support that type of interactive action.lorenzo wrote:How to improve the Draw Tool in audacity 2.1.3, so I can draw without zoom to see each samples?

Audacity does not support album art, but you can add album art to MP3s with MP3Tag http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

Re: Audacity can not find a place to save the temporary file
Audacity needs read / write access to its temp folder. By default this is a folder that Audacity creates in /var/tmp/ For example, if your user name is "vince", then the temp folder will be, by default "/var/tmp/audacity-vince" The location of the temp folder is set in "Edit...

Re: Warning while it skips in recording?
On modern Macs, tweaking the "buffer size" in Recording Preferences (http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/recording_preferences.html) can make a huge difference. Often it is necessary to reduce the buffer size, sometimes to zero. Unfortunately it's difficult to predict the necessary buffer s...

Are you referring to the "Portable Apps" version, or are you using the official Audacity from the Audacity website.HoodieDan wrote:I've gotten a portable copy of the software

Re: Warning while it skips in recording?
Unfortunately I don't think you can on Mac. On Linux, Jack audio system reports "xruns" (buffer underrun / overrun). as does ASIO on Windows (though Audacity does not ship with ASIO support), but as far as I'm aware Core Audio doesn't. However, it should be possible to record reliably with...

You seems to be uncertain whether it is "1 octave". Why is that?pisig wrote:first track seems to be okay, but the 2nd, 3rd and so forth tracks are 1 note (or 1 octave?) lower
