Re: Freezing Y axis Display?
Sorry but I don't recognise the problem that you are trying to describe. Could you give step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Re: Recording from Allen & Heath q33 board to audacity
Is it an Allen & Heath q33 (as in the topic title), or a q32 (as in your first post) or a Qu-32 (as found on Allen & Heath's product pages), or something else?

Re: Strange oozing sound after using noise reduction
Noise reduction is a balancing act (and this is not unique to Audacity, it applies to all applications that have noise reduction). The Noise reduction effect tries to identify noise, based on the "noise sample" that you provide it with, and then to reduce the level of that noise throughout...

Re: One on one tutorial
Audacity has a very comprehensive manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/ including many tutorials (see front page of the manual) a "getting started" guide (http://manual.audacityteam.org/quick_help.html) and a tour guide of the main features: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/audacity_to...

Re: Skill Test for Audacity Masters, possible Project recruit
This "test" is a waste of time. Any voices present are so deeply buried below other sounds that they are inaudible. If you have money to waste you could hire the services of an audio forensics professional.

Re: Reducing baby chatter/noises (Noob)
Since I'm a middle-aged man, it seems their chatter should pretty much fall into a substantially higher frequency, or at the top range of my vocal frequency, Take a look in the Spectrogram track view (http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/spectrogram_view.html). I think you will find that the baby cha...
