Ensure that you select the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit version. Audacity is 32-bit on Windows.

"Label tracks" are useless for my purposes, as far as I can tell. As soon as I cut a piece of audio from the audio track, the audio shifts, but the label tracks are static, so the labels now point to the wrong things You need to either: Make your selection in the audio track AND the label...

I've also noticed that in the current development code, there must be an audio selection in order to open the label editor. That looks like an unnecessary restriction, and my guess is that it was not intended. and someone else also noticed and has fixed that. it does seem that the code converts lab...
