There's probably a left-over lock file stopping Audacity from launching.
Ensure that Audacity is not running at all, then look in /var/tmp/audacity-<your-user-name>/
That folder should be empty when Audacity is not running.

I don't have specific information about this issue, but we do try to prioritize issues that will be of greatest benefit to Audacity users.

Do Allen & Heath provide ASIO drivers for it?
If they do, try installing the ASIO drivers and recording with Reaper (free trial version that does not expire - if you decide to keep it, you should buy it).
If that does not work, then I think you need to contact Allen & Heath.
