Re: Reverb is not working (2.2.0)
I suspect that the project may be damaged, so first thing - back-up as much as possible now: Save the project with a new, unique name (File menu > Save Project As). Export each track as WAV files - if there is only one track, then "File > Export Audio". If there are several tracks in the p...

It's an "Analyze" type effect, so when enabled, it is listed in the "Analyze" menu.Jona wrote: it doesn't show up under "Effect" in audacity.

Re: Extend Silences
Being able to specify the silence locations by a series of labels in order to apply the effect automatically based on them, could be useful. Unfortunately Nyquist plug-ins do not (yet) have the ability to read labels. the plugin doesn't allow a min detected silence of more than 10 seconds, You coul...

Re: Make "Silence Audio" non-destructive
Any ideas whether this would be an easy thing to implement in 2.2? It's unlikely to be implemented soon, though I am keen to see a number of improvements to the "Envelope" feature, and "non-destructive silencing" could possibly be implemented as an enhancement of Audacity's Enve...

Of course Audacity can export as MP3 if you have LAME installed (http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_ ... .html#lame)

Re: iTunes ignoring my track edits in Audacity
Do any of the programs you listed have an option for burning MP3 CDs? Foobar2000 can convert most audio formats to MP3. An "MP3 CD" is just a plain old data CD with MP3 files on it, so just about any CD burning program can do that. In fact I think you can burn CDs directly from "File...

Re: Can't save project or really do anything
Sounds like it was just a glitch. Obviously Audacity is not supposed to seize up, so if it happens again, do let us know, and try to recall exactly what you were doing when the problem occurred. If we can reproduce the problem then it should be possible to fix it (but very difficult to fix a proble...

Re: Saved as MONO and Reopened as Stereo ?
So the purpose of me doing that is not canceled out then ? I'm not clear about what you are trying to achieve. The easiest way to make two mono tracks into one hard panned "stereo" (2 channel) track, is to use "Make Stereo Track" from the first track's drop down menu (see: http:...
