Where can I find pipeclient.py?
The same place as pipe_test.py. Here: https://github.com/audacity/audacity/tr ... piped-work
Documentation is in the file (See the Docstrings).

Re: Convert Label text to LRC file

Does

Code: Select all

GetInfo: Type=Labels Format=JSON"
work for you with "pipeclient.py" (command line interface)?

Is there something I could have done by accident that would have resulted in every clip losing its first 10 (or so) seconds?
Probably, but I can't think of anything obvious from the description.

Unfortunately in 3.0 a progress pop up appears while Audacity is called with: "PlayLooped:" and makes it impossible to stop with: "Stop:".
This is now logged on the Audacity bug tracker. (Bug 2701)

Re: [WINDOWS 10] Pressing any key on keyboard causes audacity to stop working

Try this: 1. Reboot the computer 2. Locate the hidden folder C:\Users\ <username> \AppData\Roaming\audacity\ (where "<username>" is your username) and rename it so something like: C:\Users\ <username> \AppData\Roaming\audacity-old\ Now try running Audacity. You should see the "Welcome...

I'm not able to build it from the source code.
I'd suggest that you use whichever version of Audacity is supported by your Linux distribution.

It is update of flatpak from Flathub.
I doubt that it is "Audacity 3.0.1 alpha".

Does the problem also occur for you if you build Audacity from the source code?
(we are not able to do anything about Flatpak packaging problems)

Re: Bug in Vocal reduction and isolation

I tested with this file:
test.wav
(1.01 MiB) Downloaded 60 times
and applied "Vocal reduction and isolation" with these settings:

settings.png
settings.png (32.44 KiB) Viewed 1612 times

and this was the result:
result.wav
(1.01 MiB) Downloaded 64 times
Seems to be working fine.
