Re: Instrument Synthesis?

Have you tried running Linux Sampler? One (of many) articles about doing so: https://www.ucc.asn.au/~zarquin/raspi-linuxsampler.html s there some kind of real time synthesis algorithm I can use? Probably, though I've not researched synthesis on a PI, so I don't have recommendations. Perhaps somethin...

Re: Is it a click ? A pop ? How to remove it ?

I can't find any technique to remove them... The only way that works for me is to manually go through with the " Repair " effect, selecting one click at a time, though that is not practical if the recording is more than a few seconds duration. The big problem is that the glitches are rela...

Re: Is it a click ? A pop ? How to remove it ?

I don't know to "name" them (pop ? click ? clip ?... cf. attachment) so I can't find any technique to remove them... The spectrogram does not tell us enough about the audio. Please post a short audio sample in WAV format (see here for how: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49...

Re: Audacity instead of Levelator

It looks like you are trying to work with extremely poor quality audio.
If you could post a sample, we may be better able to suggest alternatives.

Re: 432 Hz Conversion

I wondered what would happen if the player dropped their oboe on the way to the concert...... Fortunately the pitch of an oboe is pretty stable, but even so there is some range for tuning and the oboist will tune their oboe before playing a note to the orchestra. Interesting also to note that for l...

Re: Decibel Level Relative to Audio Volume

I've tried their forum with a few of my questions but they've gone unanswered. Please be aware that this is the help forum for Audacity, not iTunes. It should really be Apple that provides technical support for Apple software (given their enormous wealth, they should be able to afford to do so). I ...

Re: Recording level slider inoperative

The signal does not reach the 'red' level Good. Red level for digital recording signifies danger. An ideal recording level is for peaks to reach up to about half the track height. During recording the waveform should never touch the top or bottom of the track. If the recording level is a bit low, t...

Re: Chain ExportMP3 isn't working

There was a problem with ClipFix that caused it to fail on 'long' tracks. The problem would occur in tracks that are about 30 minutes or more in length.
The problem has been fixed in the next release of Audacity.

Re: Removing all metadata when exporting multiple

I don't have 2.0.3 (it's very old) so I can't test.
The current version is 2.1.3 which you can get from here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/
