Re: REQ: R1 MF ("Blue box") Tone Generator
Congratulations mharriger. I don't know much about MF, but the LISP / Nyquist code seems to work all right. This is my first time writing anything in LISP, so I hope it doesn't contain too much strange syntax. The syntax looks fine, though the formatting (indentation) looks a bit strange in places (...

Re: Select the Whole Track
I generally click here, but I'm not sure what a good way to describe that is. It's not a big target, but it is always visible, even if the track is collapsed. firsttrack000.png Also note that double clicking on the waveform selects the "audio clip". If there is just one audio clip in the t...

Re: Record vs Export Bit Rate Confusion signed 16 vs 32 floa
How about a "wish list" page on the wiki, along the lines of the "wording changes" page, for proposed non-contentious enhancements that are too small to warrant their own proposal page?

Re: Sound problem - Audacity with ASIO and Focusrite (Win 10
Or I would have to compile Audacity with the Visual Studio in Win10, too? I doubt that is the problem. If your compiled version works OK on Windows 8, then it's pretty safe to assume that it's not a problem with the Audacity binary. if I exit then start the Audacity again with this saved ASIO inter...

Re: Labels to show time that a recording was made
I've now expanded this with idea with a second plug-in called "Recording Time". The attached file (below) is a ZIP archive containing 3 files. The archive should be unzipped into the Audacity plug-ins folder. The three files are: record-time-labels.ny : An updated version of the plug-in po...

Probably, but it's a matter of competing demands for time.waxcylinder wrote:Is this something you could do Steve?
Writing a proposal is perhaps a bit OTT for such a small, and hopefully uncontentious feature, but worth logging somewhere imo.

Re: Audacity stuck on splash page with Compiled ASIO builds
Audacity will hang at the splash screen for a good 2 minutes when I have Ableton also open and ASIO-connected to my presonus firebox. I'm a bit surprised that it works at all. ASIO requires exclusive access to the audio device, which means that while ASIO is using a device, nothing else can except ...

Re: Record vs Export Bit Rate Confusion signed 16 vs 32 floa
I wonder why there are two ways to export to WAV instead of just giving all the bit rate options under the File>Save Other>Export as WAV option. That's something that I would favour, but we've had a separate option for 16-bit WAV for many years, and there are always complaints if an old feature is ...
