Re: Problem exporting WAV on audacity 2.2.0 - Windows10
Audacity works internally with 32-bit float format, as that provides the best quality. Consequently, (by default), Audacity converts imported files to 32-bit float format. This is a good thing as it allows higher quality processing and protects against permanent clipping damage. This behaviour can b...

Re: Select the Whole Track
Note that the "safe click region" is also required for dragging tracks up/down. I support the idea of making it visually more distinctive, though probably not with zebra-stripes.

Re: Select the Whole Track
How about a double-click on the track name - or an additional entry in the TCP dropdown menu for "Select Track" :?: I'm not keen on the double-click on track name idea - it sounds to me like it could turn out to be one of those "unique" (non-standard) conveniences that turns rou...

Re: Internal error at Sequence.cpp line 1828
The only thing I did differently was I "mixed and rendered" the whole project before exporting. "Mix and Render" before exporting should not be necessary, though doing so does have the benefit of showing what the audio file will be like after exporting. It can be useful to Mix a...

Re: Image that I don't own suddenly appears on my MP3 file
Firstly, I'd recommend not using media players that do this sort of thing. Windows Media Player and iTunes are notorious for being "too clever" and messing with the music files in one way or another. Personally, when on Windows I use foobar2000 as my music player, and VLC for all other med...

That was one of the reasons that I gave them similar names.Trebor wrote:the plugins have to found on the plugin list & enabled ...
Not often requested, but I guess that you agree that we could do with a better plug-in manager?

Re: Select the Whole Track
Drop-Down on the left > Select All. I think that would have to specify "Select All of Track", to distinguish it from "Ctrl + A" ury's out on what happens if you Shift- did that in order to get multiple tracks. It's a context menu, so the commands should apply (only) to the conte...

Re: Select the Whole Track
Another way? Other than what? I don't know of a good reliable way to select a whole track. That's the point of this post. 1) Click on any part of the track info panel that isn't a control (yes there's at least one small bit even when the track is collapsed, to the right of the collapse/expand butto...
