Re: Audacity 3.0.0 and Amplitube 5
You will probably hit a problem if Amplitube is using ASIO. ASIO tends to grab exclusive control of the computer sound system, which interferes with non-ASIO applications like Audacity. If Amplitube is NOT using ASIO, then yes I'd suggest using WASAPI loopback. (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/...

Re: Output a MultiTrack recording for production at 96K WAV file format
Can I use this version of Audacity to export each song with it's associated tracks as 96K WAV file format. Are the tracks already 96 kHz? (There's no point increasing the sample rate if they are currently less than 96 kHz). I have a number of 16 and 24 track recordings of my band Were the recording...

Re: Stuck on automatic crash recovery
I have yet to see a Snapd or Flatpak build of Audacity that I'm happy with. Those builds are beyond our control as they are made by 3rd parties. I do find it mildly annoying that Flatpak direct users that have problems with their builds to us. On Debian based distros (including Ubuntu), the "de...

Re: Volume Not Adjusted Properly with Envelope
I've found a workaround to fix the project, but could you leave that project available for a while - I'd like the developers to take a look at it. There's clearly a bug somewhere that caused the problem. The workaround: Click on the track's "Select" button. "Edit menu > Clip Boundarie...

Re: Volume Not Adjusted Properly with Envelope
I've found something peculiar in the project. There are several "zero length" audio clips.
I've observed this previously in some projects, but I'm unsure what causes it - of course this "shouldn't" happen.
Do you recall what effects you've used on the problematic track?

Re: A new forum for Audacity 3 feedback and reviews
I was annoyed that it kept resetting to the default Metronome tick and Number of Bars. That was a bug that has now been fixed. No issues here with the new AUP3 so far Pleased to hear it. We have discovered a few issues since release, and the developers are busy fixing them so that we can release a ...

Re: Limiter crashes
As you have probably worked out for yourself, the workaround until the bug is fixed, is to process long tracks in smaller sections.

What is the full and exact error message?
(If it is not in English, please translate it for us and say what language it was in).

Re: Volume Not Adjusted Properly with Envelope
Very peculiar.
I'm glad you posted the video - that illustrates the problem very well.
I suspect there is a "phantom" envelope point stuck in the track somehow
Unfortunately I'm not able to view the AUP3 because it is set to "private".
