Re: Weird that mute/unmute all are unavailible during playba
When there are lots of tracks, and I want to change the selection to play to just a few, That's what the " solo " buttons are for. For multi-track projects, there's a "Multi-track" mode setting for the Solo button. (http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tracks_behaviors_preferences...

Re: MP3 Recordings are Bassy as heck.
when I play it out normally What does that mean? If you import a known good audio file into Audacity and play it, does it sound "normal" or "bassy as heck"? If you export an MP3 from Audacity and "play it out normally", does it sound "normal" or "bassy a...

Re: Weird that mute/unmute all are unavailible during playba
I'm not aware of a good reason for disabling mute/unmute all during playback, but on the other hand I don't see a compelling reason why mute/unmute all is required during playback. Surely, if you want to temporarily stop playback, the more obvious way to do that is to use "Pause".

Re: Line in not working Raspian USB DAC
Audacity is not officially supported by the Raspberry Pi, though there have been a few reports of it working to some degree (no-one is claiming great performance ;)) I'd suggest breaking it down into smaller, simpler tasks. Try to get arecord to work first. When that is working, then move on to Auda...

Re: Spectrogram analysis help
Use a large "Size" setting.
You can also get numeric data by exporting.

Re: Installed FFMPEG, still cannot import mp4 multi track au
I can't be sure about that specific format, but with at least some multi-channel formats, you can select multiple channels to import at the same time. Give that a go and see if it works with that format.

Re: Adjustable Fade "Error" error.
What is the system language of your computer? What is the exact location of the "audacity.exe" file? Please also restart Audacity, and then open the Log, and post the contents. The problem is that Nyquist is unable to find some of its files. My suspicion is that it is because the path incl...

Re: Adjustable Fade "Error" error.
Take a look in "Help > Diagnostics > Show Log". There is usually a load of stuff related to loading FFmpeg at the start, so to make things clearer I'd suggest that you: 1) Launch Audacity 2) Open the Log 3) Clear the log 4) Attempt to run any Nyquist effect (such as Adjustable Fade or High...
