Re: Trouble EQ'ing left channel to match right channel?
but the slider does not go up to 24, How old is the version of Audacity that you are using? Audacity's built-in "Bass and Treble" effect was added in it's current over 5 years ago, and the slider range was +/- 30 dB, as now. There was an even older version that had slider ranges o...

Re: High-pass filter doesn't complete in 3.0.0 on longer recordings
Unfortunately this is a bug that we didn't notice before release. The bug came in with an update towards the end of the release cycle and it fixed some problems that have been around for ages, but it also caused "Nyquist" effects (including High Pass and Low Pass filters) to fail on long t...

What settings are you using in the Device Toolbar?
If the recording device is set to "Default" or "Pulse", try changing it to the "hw" option that corresponds with your recording device (probably "hw:2,0" from looking at your other examples).

I tried to opening it and it did not work one bit. For Audacity versions older than Audacity 3.0.0 it is essential that you don't modify the "_data" folder in any way. I have reconstructed the project manually, and it works for me. Here is a ZIP archive file containing the repaired projec...

Please describe, step by step, what you are doing, what is happening, and what the problem is. Audacity project files (".aup" files) are not normal audio files and are not compatible with other programs. To get a normal audio file you must "Export" from Audacity. For example: &qu...

Here is the report that I have saved, which looks like it failed to load the FFmpeg FFmpeg is an optional component that enables Audacity to import / export additional file types. It is unrelated to opening projects. whiles another program overwritten the AUP files. I don't understand what you mean...

Re: Import Failed: This may be caused by an improper MP3 file
I was using version 3.0.0. I'm confused. You wrote: I have just had a chance to try this now and yes they do open and import successfully. Are you saying that the MP3s that opened previously, will also open in Audacity 3.0.0? If so, then that appears to contradict your next statement: Seems somehow...

Re: Trouble EQ'ing left channel to match right channel?
For a "quick and easy" fix you can get quite close by applying the "Bass and Treble" effect to the left channel only, with "Treble" increased to +24 dB and the other sliders at 0.0.
