You could try this:
Rather than using pasuspender, just set Audacity to use the "hw" options in the device toolbar.

Re: How to disable blank space on save
It is not possible to make seamless loops with MP3s because the format always has a bit of leading silence (technically, it's because the format does not define the overall encoder/decoder delay).
The solution is to use a different format, such as WAV or OGG.

Re: Can't figure out why seq is adding the rest of audio tra
This is tricky, and it catches me out every time I encounter it. The issue is to do with how Nyquist handles the logical stop time for sounds. A few asides about the code: The Nyquist variable "LEN" has special meaning in Audacity. It is the length of the selection in samples. To avoid con...

We've not ruled that out, but it is not the most likely reason.kac43 wrote:could it have anything to do with the upgrading the OS from 18.1 to 18.3?
The first thing that I would be checking is the microphone. If you have a smart phone, you may be able to test the mic with that.

Re: HELP audacity multiple track crackling when during playb
My neighbour said something about potentially background processes on the laptop using a lot of processing power That is a possibility. Computers are made as general purpose machines, not as ready made recording studios. Tweaking the computer to achieve better audio performance can give very signif...

Re: Playlist Fandango - VLC Media Player
If you've downloaded the latest version of MP3Tag, I'd guess it is 2.86, but the application should tell you the version (usually in "Help > About").
I'm not familiar with MP3Tag on Windows as I use Linux, so I'm not the right person to ask.

Re: You Tube audio is
If I have an hour playlist set in YT to auto record, can this work in the background so i can click and work and listen to other things? Not unless you have 2 computers. If Audacity is recording what is playing through the computer (YouTube), then it will record everything that is playing through t...
