Re: New User - Time Shifting Problem

I want to shift the top file to the right Go to the end of the track and check that there's no audio blocking the clip that you are trying to move. I've been confused by this before when there was a tiny fragment of audio left over from an edit - it was so small that I couldn't see it until I zoome...

Re: After upgrade to 2.2.2, no spanish language

I suggest that you contact Panda Jim about the problem (contact details are on that page).

This is what my build looks like (built from the official 2.2.2 release tarball).

Re: New User - Time Shifting Problem

Are you trying to shift it to the left? It looks like there may be a "split line" at the left end of the track, indicating that there is some more audio before time=0.0 Can you move it to the right? I assume that you are selecting the Time Shift tool? (in the picture, the Time Shift Tool i...

Re: After upgrade to 2.2.2, no spanish language

That's strange, because as you can see here, the Spanish translation is still in the source code.
Where does your 2.2.2 build come from? Did you build from source, or get it from a PPA, or something else?

Re: What is the moving red line and caret while recording?

When you play a track, there's a green triangle in the Timeline, symbolising the "play head" position. Below this triangle in the audio track, is a black vertical line, which is the "play position cursor". During recording, you have the same, except they are red. http://manual.au...

Re: Latency

It looks to be considerably more than 1.4 ms. More like 120 ms (1 ms = 0.001 s, 100 ms = 0.1 s). The instructions for correcting this in Audacity 2.2.2 (the current version of Audacity) are here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/latency_test.html My guess, based on that picture, is that you will n...
