Re: Podcast improvement

No need to repost, we've seen your other post.
Posting in the Windows forum is fine for nearly all questions (assuming that you are on Windows) as replies can then be more specific.

I'll lock this topic so as to avoid the confusion of splitting the conversation across two threads.

Re: CD player

First thing, upgrade Audacity to version 2.2.2 at your earliest convenience. The older 2.2.1 version has a critical bug that may cause data loss (see: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=99026) Re. your questions. CDs may be burned as "Audio CD" or as "Data CD"...

Re: Old Version Opens

Try uninstalling Audacity completely from your computer, then reinstall Audacity 2.2.2.
Ensure that you download the official version of Audacity via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/ (Audacity 2.2.2 installer)

Re: CMD instead of CTRL in Online Manual

The manual does already say in the shortcut reference
Other Tips and hints:
  • Mac users: Ctrl = and Alt = Option. So, for example, Ctrl + Alt + K = ⌘ + Option + K.
I don't think it would be practical to repeat that every time a shortcut is given.

Even more space could be achieved by removing it altogether, but the hope is that people will see it and act accordingly. Do you think that making it smaller will achieve that aim more effectively?
