I've started experiencing popping noises with each edit. I am a voiceover artist and this is completely unacceptable. Why is this happening and what do I do to fix it? It could be as described in the FAQ: " Why do I hear clicks when I remove or paste audio, or at the start or end of the track?...

You can drag and drop any supported kind of "audio" file (WAV, MP3, Ogg, Flac, Aiff...).
Drag and drop does not support "projects".
