Import RAW does not work for 24-bit files (it's a bug).
I'll log it on the bug tracker.

Re: Recorded sound is 11X too fast and underruns

OK, there's something strange there: There's no "hw:0,0" device. Try rebooting your computer and do not launch any audio capable applications. If you have Jack installed, ensure that it does not automatically start on log-in. Then launch Audacity and get the Audio Device Info again. Is the...

Re: Recorded sound is 11X too fast and underruns

In the Audacity Help menu, find the "Audio Device Info" and click on it. When the window appears, click "Save" and save the info file somewhere convenient, then attach it to your reply.

Re: Not liking Horizontal Zoom relative to selection edge

Most of the time I use the mouse wheel. So why not just click on the track and then use the mouse wheel? Personally I was also happy with the previous behaviour, and it took me a little while to get used to the new behaviour, but now that I'm used to it I don't find it to be a problem. The change w...

Re: Recorded sound is 11X too fast and underruns

This is puzzling. I also have Ubuntu 16.04, and the repo version of Audacity works fine with my on-board sound card (ALC269VC Analog).

When you say that it plays 11x too fast, is it also playing very high pitched, or just very fast at normal pitch?

Re: Frequency after pitch change can not be the target numer

when I want to change from "C5 = 523.251" to "C5 = 528.000". The result does not become the target numerical value 528.000 Hz. The amount of change is a ratio, not an absolute value. Changing from "C5 = 523.251" to "C5 = 528.000" is a change of 0.907595 % If ...

Re: Window 10 & Realtek issues

It's not clear from your description exactly what you are trying to do. If you are wanting to record from the mixer via its USB connection, then the Peavy mixer should be set as the recording device and the built-in sound card is irrelevant unless you use it for playback.

Re: Not liking Horizontal Zoom relative to selection edge

Which method of zooming do you use? (there's lots: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/zooming.html)
Have you tried the new "Zoom Toggle"?
