Which version of Audacity?
Was Audacity working correctly before you installed RoVee?
Does Audacity work OK apart from the RoVee plug-in?

You are probably recording from your laptop's built in microphone at the moment. In the Device Toolbar, you need to select the recording device that corresponds with the device that you are wanting to record from.
