Re: newbie question- Is there hot-key to delete recorded audio without delete the track?
"Ctrl + Z" to undo the last command. You don't have to manually add a track before recording into it. Just press "Shift + R". You can also delete selected audio with the "Del" key. To select all audio in the track that has focus (the track with a yellow border): "C...

Re: Tinny and Echoing Recording
My guess is that you are recording from your laptop's microphone.
Try using the "WASAPI loopback" method described here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tut ... ndows.html
Re: Pluggin
Audacity is an audio editor, not a full music production studio. It does not have any built-in instruments and does not support VST instruments. You can however import instrument sounds. A good source of free sounds is https://freesound.org

Re: Podcast improvement and removing clicks
The clicks can be repaired with the Repair effect (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/repair.html), but this can only repair one click at a time, so if there's a lot of clicks it'll take forever. Here I've used the Repair tool on the three most obvious clicks: test-repaired.wav ideas why these clic...
