A couple of minor issues from one of the Audacity developers:

The little down arrow button on the time controls is pretty hard to see and the help button is blank.

I assume that he means this arrow on the timeline controls:


and this help button:

but I notice distortion spikes have crept in. Could they be corrupted as a result of the file format conversions? It's possible that the tracks already had some invalid sample data, which would go some way to explaining the crashes, and would also explain the spikes in the converted project. How bi...

Here's a preview of the Macro editing interface for Audacity 3.0.1 (scheduled for release later this month):
The "Save" button is grayed out until the macro has been altered.

There was another report of potential conflicts of the progress bar during macros when invoked by a python script.

I think that's been fixed for Audacity 3.0.1 (scheduled for release later this month).

I was not able to reproduce any problem with Cut Preview.
