I'm not able to reproduce this problem.
Does normal playback work correctly?
Do other effects preview correctly?
Does previewing noise reduction fail on other Audacity projects, or just this one?

Re: How to select "what I see"
I really hoped the ctrl [ and ctrl ] key-combos would work. They do work, but they may be in the "full set" of shortcuts rather than the shorter "Standard" set. I'll get back to you on this ... Yes, they're in the "full" set, and not the "standard" set. To se...

Re: How to select "what I see"
When I hover the mouse over a selection start point OR anywhere in the wavform window, all the wheel does is slightly scroll the stereo pair of waveforms upward or downward in the Audacity window. Oops, I mis-typed  . To zoom with the mouse wheel, hold down the " Ctrl " key (I shall...

Re: Zoom H6 and Audacity - Basic Question
You can still record 2 tracks, with L and R, but you won't be able to use 1-4. You're right that the ability to record multi-track depends on the drivers, but it would be worth checking which channels are available with different "host" options in the device toolbar . The WASAPI host is c...

Re: Remove a specifc word in the entire file
Not really.
You may be able to see some of them by looking at the waveform for gaps between sentences that have a little blip corresponding to the "er". That's probably the best / quickest clue, other than listening to the entire recording.

Re: Delay with bpm and panning
That works nicely, except for a couple of typos:
In "defun sig" the options are numbered 0, 1, 1, T.
In ";control options" you have a curly brace in the option "Add} high pass filter"

Re: batch command not recognized
Yes, Python scripting is better supported, though basically any language that supports named pipes should work. There's a lot of new scripting features in Audacity 2.0.3. Here's some links to relevant sections in the 2.0.3 alpha manual: https://alphamanual.audacityteam.org/man/Scripting https://alph...

Re: How to select "what I see"
I need to zoom in close to the spot where segment one changes to segment two. I need to mark that as the start of my selection. Then I must zoom way back to find the end point. I then must zoom in closely on the region where the end point will be. I then need to mark that point as the end of my sel...
