Re: Audacity cuts off last few seconds
Are you sure that it is Audacity cutting off the last few seconds, and not your audio player stopping before the end? You can check if the last few seconds exist in the file, by importing the audio file back into Audacity and checking how long it is. Some audio players are known to have problems wit...

Re: Problem with links to fosshub
FossHub have very recently updated their site. It is possible that your web browser is attempting to access a cached copy of the site that no longer exist. This links on the Audacity website should work ( https://www.audacityteam.org/download/ ) but if you still have problems, try clearing your web ...

Re: No Sound
If you really are using Windows XP, you should seriously consider upgrading. If you don't want to go to Windows 10, you could consider using a lightweight version of Linux.

Re: Big problem, I think I’ve done something wrong!
I’m just confused at this point! Me too. Audacity cannot export as MP3 unless LAME is installed. I don't see how it is possible that you were exporting MP3s for years unless you already had LAME installed. Audacity does not require LAME or FFmpeg to import MP3. Audacity can handle importing MP3 nat...

Re: Slow work.
Unfortunately, that version, 2.3.0 has already been deleted If you would like to help resolve the problem, you could install is self-contained "portable" version of 2.3.0 for testing purposes, and continue using your old version for production work. If you'd like to do that, just say and ...

Re: Project tracks now missing
Very weird. I was in a Project and closed it and saved it. That was it. Then opened it back up and exported audio. The result was what you see here. Strange indeed. I've never seen that happen in well over 10 years of using Audacity. How will that effect all of my Projects in the current version? I...

Re: Slow work.
Ok so I took a one-hour project and tested (on W10 64-bit SSD) Using Limiter a) on 2.2.2: 2 mins 38 secs b) on 2.3.0 : 3 mins 38 secs so a circa 50% increase But the I re-ran the tests and while 2.3.0 stayed the same the 2.2.2 came in at a mere 20 seconds so 5x longer on 2.3.0 versus 2.2.2 On Linux...
