My guess is that the lack of documentation for the silence generator is due to a conflict with the "Silence Audio" command. I'll raise this with the developers. The developer responsible for this confirmed that was the problem and has now fixed it, so it should be correct in the version 2...

For that to work it would be necessary for the log entry to contain the settings of each effect in full. For some effects, that's a lot of information, for example, the Equalization effect in "Draw Curves" mode could have dozens of control points.
