Re: Bug 137 are my files recoverable?

I don't think your issue is "bug 137", though it seems that later in the thread, 137 became conflated with multiple rare issues with different causes (and sometimes different symptoms). Since 137 was logged, a number of more specific relating to project saving / reopening have been logged,...

Re: How do you get amplitude modulation (tremolo) based on a sample?

Thanks, that's pretty close to what I want! :) The only problem is that this creates two oscillations per wave (one for each polarity). I only one want one oscillation per wave, like this: If you look at this previous example: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=356621#p356621 you should...

Re: INVERT EFFECTS

Audacity 2.2.2 is an old version. The current version is 2.3.0 and is available via the Audacity website: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
Installation instructions are further down that page.
The "Invert" effect is included, and can be found in the "Effect" menu.

Re: How do you get amplitude modulation (tremolo) based on a sample?

Where are your "modulator" and "carrier" waves coming from? Are you wanting to generate them, or use the track audio for one or both of them? If you are wanting to track the pitch of an arbitrary sound, then that is very difficult to do, and you may be best to start looking for a...

Re: Macro Time Resolution

So long as no problems are found with it between now and the release of 2.3.1, this enhancement is in.
The "Select:" command dialog now accepts up to 8 digits, so that gives you milliseconds or better provided that your track is no more than about 27 hours duration.

Quite simply, I just want the phase of waveform A to determine the volume of waveform B.
Perhaps simple for you, but I don't understand what you mean.
This is my understanding of "phase" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phase_(waves)

Re: Generate Sine / Fat Sine with Envelope at specific Hz frequencies

1. would I need to adjust your example (exchange *sine-table* with *saw-table*) as I am using "sawtooth" in tone.js? Yes. Nyquist has the following pre-defined wavetables: *sine-table* *tri-table* *saw-table* See also: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~rbd/doc/nyquist/part8.html#index380 2. what doe...
