Re: Inserting sound clips between previously saved clips

I'd like to export/save several of the songs and then insert applause clips. Can this be done once the songs have been mixed down to a single stereo track? Yes it can, but are you sure that you want to mix them all down to one track? Normally you would keep them as separate tracks so that your list...

Re: Audacity used in movie trailer

Thanks for sharing. That's a pretty distinctive shot of Audacity isn't it :D There should not be a forum for "Other stuff" or something like that where people can write if it does not fit in the other forums? We used to have something like that - it was called "The Lounge". Unfor...

Re: Assert failing in Audacity 2.2.2

I'm guessing that the assert is a bug in Nyquist Workbench, but I don't currently have it built so I can't test right now.
Try disabling Nyquist Workbench in modules preferences, then restart Audacity. Does that stop the assert?

Re: click removal error

Do you know why there are clicks? If you are getting a lot of clicks you should be looking to fix the problem that is causing the clicks. I got this message: "Algorithm not effective on this audio. Nothing changed." That message is telling you that the effect was unable to find the clicks....

Re: Enabling sync-lock toolbar icon

It´s really awesome. I am disgusted! I produce audio books with Audacity and this feature was so easy to use. Hope it comes back to the toolbar or -- really even better -- make the toolbars editable. If you use this feature frequently, you could set a keyboard shortcut to make it even quicker to us...

Re: Punch and roll writes a "D"-Letter in the text-lane

Which version of Windows?
Which version of Audacity? (look in "Help > About Audacity")

Try resetting the Keyboard Preferences back to defaults. See here:https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/key ... ences.html

You are replying to an ancient topic, and Gale Andrews died last year.

24 beats in 15 seconds is 96 bpm but where are you getting the 4 in your calculation?
15 seconds is 1/4 of a minute.

multiple posts?
Yes.

You can also add at the end of one post words to the effect of:
"continued in next post ..."

(That's just an example, this is not such a case :))
