Re: SIMPLE MULTI-TRACKING PROGRAM??

In Audacity: "Help menu > Diagnostics > Audio Device Info" Wait for the info to appear, then click the "Save" button and save the info somewhere convenient (such as your Desktop). Then attach the saved file to your reply (see: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&...

Re: SIMPLE MULTI-TRACKING PROGRAM??

Roland Quad Capture That is the physical "audio device", and that can handle multiple recording channels, so now it's question of whether or not the Windows drivers for that device support multiple channels. Assuming that you are using Audacity 2.3.0, see here to get the "Audio devic...

Re: Keyboard Shortcut to FORCE a Pause event?

I know what a capacitive touch switch is. I don't know what that's got to do with Audacity. I'm getting the impression that you have tried to rig up a capacitive touch switch to your computer to act as an alternative "P" key, but it is not producing a clean single press signal.

Touch switches are everywhere

e.g. on lamps, or even on your laptop trackpad
You're using a lamp switch?

Re: Can someone help me to find a needed effects?

It sounds like there are multiple effects including Echo (or Delay) and Reverb.
It also sounds like you reversed the audio before applying the reverb, and then reversed it back again.

Re: Importing music files.

I presume that you are trying to import files that are in a format that Audacity does not natively support. If you install FFmpeg for Audacity, then FFmpeg will handle most audio formats that are not supported natively by Audacity. See here for how to install FFmpeg for Audacity: https://manual.auda...

Re: ACX new????? requirements

If you only are submitting a mono track, is this step necessary? If your project is mono, then this setting has no effect. If your project is stereo, then this setting ensures that the MP3 file will be mono. ACX strongly recommend that submitted files are mono, so enabling this option ensures that ...
