Re: Grainimogrifier

Unfortunately on Audacity 2.3.1 this plug-in silently fails. It appears to quit after processing the first track. The problem is that the first track returns a list, which is an error because it is not a valid return value for Audacity (it is logged in Audacity's debug window as: "Nyquist retu...

I'm not able to reproduce the problem.
Try converting this clip on both Windows and Linux, load the two versions into your media player, then listen to them side by side.

Re: reduce the volume of instrumentals?

Re: very low mic input since updated to 2.3

when I checked for the updates (2 days ago) the current version listed was 2.3.0. I didn't see 2.3.1 alpha Alpha versions are not widely advertised as they are not intended for "production" work - they are for testing purposes. I assume from your comment that you are using 2.3.0. For futu...

Macro would the stop recording and save the result When would it stop and save the result? To stop recording on a key press, use Space to stop the recording. To stop recording after a specified length of time could be done with AutoHotkey or similar. This can't be done with a macro because there is...

Re: Is there a technical name for degraded audio over time?

I would post the audio if I were allowed to but I'm under an NDA. I don't think we will be able to help you without at least a short audio sample. Are you able to repeat the problem with something that is not confidential? We will probably be able to see what the problem is from just a couple of se...
