Have you given Audacity permission to use the PreSonus Firebox? (See: viewtopic.php?p=357189#p357189)

Look in the Windows Sound Control Panel and in the "Recording" tab, check the sample rate and number of channels for the UMC22. What are the current settings?

"Waves" plug-ins do not support Audacity. See: https://www.waves.com/support/tech-spec ... rted-hosts
(There may be one or two Waves plug-ins that do work in Audacity, but that's a "lucky accident". Waves do not intend to support Audacity.)
