Re: Presonus Firebox, seen but not heard

Have you given Audacity permission to use the PreSonus Firebox? (See: viewtopic.php?p=357189#p357189)

Re: ERROR CODE -9999 with Behringer UMC22

Look in the Windows Sound Control Panel and in the "Recording" tab, check the sample rate and number of channels for the UMC22. What are the current settings?

Re: Music for background videos on YouTube

This SoundCloud downloader thing There are many websites and plug-ins that offer music downloaders. Some are legitimate, while others may be very dangerous malware. Even though a downloader may "legitimate" (not a virus), it may still breach the "terms of service" of the service...

Re: Waves L2 crashing 2.3.0

"Waves" plug-ins do not support Audacity. See: https://www.waves.com/support/tech-spec ... rted-hosts

I am interested only in a range of 0 to 1 kHz.
Resample the track to 2000 Hz sample rate, then use Plot Spectrum. (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tra ... l#resample)

Re: very low mic input since updated to 2.3

It is very unwise to use alphas for production work as there can often be nasty bugs that have yet to be teased out. Though we do very much welcome experienced Audacity users to use new alpha versions for testing. The more people that test the alpha versions, the better our chances of catching bugs...

Re: Stop recording with a macro

There are three forms of scripting (automation) in Audacity: "Macros" are the simplest, but also the most limited. A Macro is a simple list of commands that run from the top of the list to the bottom of the list. "Nyquist Macros" are a more advanced / more powerful form of script...

Re: Can import MP4

:? For some reason I must have thought that you used a Mac.
For Windows, it's the same download page (https://lame.buanzo.org/#lamewindl) and the file is called:
"RECOMMENDED Installer Package for Windows: Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe"
