Re: Duplicate Versons of Audacity in Windows 10 Settings/App & Features folder?
Make backup copies of the plug-ins that you want to keep. You may need to reinstall these (depending on what they are and where they are). LAME is not likely to be affected, but if necessary you can download it again (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_and_updating_audacity_on_windows.ht...

Re: Help to add mod-script-pipe module once Audacity built
On Windows I've only used the GUI version of Visual Studio, so I can only provide instructions for that. I assume that you are using the full source code for Audacity 2.3.1 alpha from GitHub. Modules must be built on the same day as Audacity, so I'd suggest that you "clean" the solution fi...

Re: FOCUSRITE SCARLETT SOLO
I don't think so. The formats they list are: Mac/PC AAX (Native, DSP), RTAS, TDM, AudioSuite None of which are supported by Audacity. Looks like they are intended for Pro Tools. See here for information about plug-ins supported by Audacity on Windows: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_e...

Re: Making some podcasts listenable
A small amount of improvement may be achieved using the Noise Reduction effect, but it is not possible to make much improvement because the sound quality is so poor.

Re: Audacity can't open
I tried to install some files like .... that Audacity asked me. Audacity did NOT tell you to download dll's from random websites. It is extremely dangerous to do so because viruses, trojan's and other malware can very easily be distributed that way. audacity.online.fr That is NOT an Audacity site, ...

Re: Help editing and saving track after crash
The file is saved as a .aup file An "AUP" file is only one part of an Audacity project. It is called the "Audacity Project" file, and it contains instructions for Audacity, but does NOT hold any audio data. The audio data is stored separately in a folder that has "_data&quo...

Re: Mixing 15 minute segments length change?
Any Ideas what is happening? Yes. A few years ago, Audacity switched from "128 kbps CBR" as the default format for MP3, to "Preset Standard" as the default format. ("CBR" is the abbreviation for "Constant Bit-Rate"). "Preset Standard" uses "var...

Re: Consolidation/Rendering in Audacity
I deleted your other post about exporting files to a DAW as it appeared to be a duplicate of this question. If your project has tracks starting before zero, you need to trim off the audio that is before zero. It's easiest to do this if you have the "Full" set of keyboard shortcuts enabled ...
