Assuming that you are using Audacity 2.3.0:

1) Click and drag on the blue wiggly waveform to select the bit that you want to keep.

Turn off "Sound Activated Recording" in the "Transport menu > Transport Options > Sound Activated Recording (on/off)"

Why are you asking the "Audacity community"? Your question appears to be unrelated to Audacity. Audacity runs on PC and Mac, not on embedded systems.

Try importing the "23 Landovitz ID specialty draft mixdownSample.mp3" file into a new Audacity project, and play it. Do you hear buzzing? (I don't).
