Re: preview tempo bug in audacity 2.3.1

I'll move this topic to the Windows forum as this is not an issue specific to 2.3.2 alpha, and it is platform specific.

Re: Request

I would then like to normalize each tune before using export multiple to save each tune. What would normally be done, would be to normalize the entire track in one go. This will maintain the relative levels of each song, so that the levels sound right when the songs are played in sequence (as when ...

Re: audacity 2.3.1

Welcome to the forum. We're not a company - Audacity is created and supported by volunteer enthusiasts in our spare time. I updated app to version 2.3.1 and app is not fully translated to slovak Translations, as with everything else, is done (or not) by volunteers. If you would be interested in help...

Is step #5 possible? Can you replace the base audio, keeping the clip timing intact? No, but you could add a label track, and label each clip, then after you've replaced the audio track, split it based on the labels. See these pages of the manual: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/label_tracks.ht...

Logged as P2 bug: "high quality stretching in Change Pitch/Tempo causes the Preview to malfunction and remove the selection"

See: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2096
It appears to be platform dependant. I don't see the problem on Linux.

Did you put a 'tick' in the box to select 'use high quality stretching (slow)' ?
For me the effect works correctly whether that option is selected or not.

Do you get the same problem with "Change Pitch" and "Sliding Stretch" effects?

Re: Practical way to correct mistake in recording

Shure, we could do a chapter per project, but you will lose the capacity to export at once, with the practicalidad of uniques ID3 metadatas in the mp3 and the complexity to manage the edition for the person who re-listen to the book. Most audiobook publishers require each chapter as a separate file...
