iTunes 12.9.4.102,
I've got iTunes Version 12.9.4.94 and my test results are unchanged. I'll see what happens when I get the 12.9.4.102 update.

Re: Streaming capture quality vs soundcard quality

It depends how you do it. If you can capture the stream with "curl", then the sound card is irrelevant because the data stream is written directly to disk and the sound card is not involved at all. If you record via PulseAudio, then the sound card itself is not a factor, but the sound card...

Re: Create a 528 Hz Isochronic Tones with Audacity

Use this to generate a 528 Hz tone: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tone.html Then use this Nyquist plug-in to turn it into pulses: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Isochronic_modulator Instructions for installing Nyquist plug-ins are here: https://manual.audacityteam.o...

Re: Updated De-Clicker and new De-esser for speech

Somehow, your Audacity installation has got messed up and there are many files and folders in the wrong places. I've had a word with one of our Mac experts, and he agrees that the best course of action will be to completely trash your current versions of Audacity and do a fresh install. Before proce...

I am using audacity 2.3.1 64 bit.
You are not. There isn't a 64-bit version of Audacity for Windows. Audacity 2.3.1 for Windows is a 32-bit application and only supports 32-bit plug-ins.
Note also that Audacity does not support VST instruments (VSTi).

Re: Retain quality while ripping via WASAPI protocol

There are many places where losses could occur. Is the audio stream really lossless? If it is, then the bit-rate will be huge, so the chance of dropped network packets will be high. Does the Blustacks emulator support "hi-res" audio? Does the media player in the emulator support "hi-r...

Re: Chain export settings (now Macros)

When im using the Exort2 task, when i must define the filename, how i'm able to prevent the overwriting from the privious export? You are correct that it is not suitable for batch processing in a Macro. The Export2 command is more suited to using Python (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/scriptin...

OK, one more. This will have quite a lot of output, so please resize the terminal window to show the full output:

Code: Select all

Re: Two copies Audacity running

Use "Go" from the main Mac menu, and copy/paste this address to open it in Finder:

Code: Select all

~/Library/Application Support/audacity
In there you should see a folder called "Session Data". Open that folder, and delete any file you find therein.
