Re: Updated De-Clicker and new De-esser for speech
I'd love to try this De-Esser plug in as I hiss like a snake but it is not recognized on my Windows 10 set up, does anyone have an up to date link that might help me? Thank you! De-Clicker and De-esser are "Nyquist plug-ins". Installation instructions are here: Windows: https://manual.aud...

Supported plug-in types are listed here: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Plug-ins I have a Flask (Python) app that I created using a couple of different Python libraries. I think it would be much more useful to people as an Audacity plugin What doe...

Re: Combining Multitrack files to single multitrack

Which Audacity version? 3.0.0 or 3.0.2? (look in "Audacity menu > About Audacity").
If it's 3.0.0, please try updating to 3.0.2 (available here: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/)

Re: Goodby Audiobooks, Hello Radio Theater.
I don't see that. I get a "re-direct from GB," and page after page of why I should subscribe immediately. Do Not Wait! I've recently tightened up my on-line security. It's now easy to see who is trying to track my every move - Amazon, YouTube, Facebook... Here's a short sample from the bo...

This one has been out for a while. It is read by one person, but has sound effects: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/My-Fellow- ... B07TC7T25F

Re: behringer UM2 can't connect guitar on Line 2
Easiest way to record the guitar only is to plug it into input 1. The input level may need turning up a bit more, but it should work.danvalerio3rd wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:01 pmHello. Did you figure out how to have input 2 for audacity using um2?

Software playthrough....that sounds hopeful. In Audacity or Windows...? Audacity: "Transport menu > Transport options > Software playthough". (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/transport_menu_transport_options.html) Note that, as DVDdoug wrote, software playthrough has an unavoidable de...

I get the "--h--m-- ---s" display whenever the selection starts before t=0.waxcylinder wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:01 pmIt's a bug because
a) it only affects Compressor and not the other effects
The time widget has no way of showing negative values.

Yes. You can see in my screenshot (highlighting in the timeline) that the selection extends before t=0.waxcylinder wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:59 amSteve, at Step 8 did you use Ctrl+A (thereby selecting the negative 9 seconds as well as the positive 21 seconds)?
