Re: Multiplying mix
No doubt you read in that exact same article: In mathematics, division by zero is division where the divisor (denominator) is zero. Such a division can be formally expressed as a/0 where a is the dividend (numerator). In ordinary arithmetic, the expression has no meaning, as there is no number which...

Re: 24/7 auto-recording .mp3's, auto-named, multiple files controlled by size/time
The name and size of the files I want Audacity to automatically generate. The file "size" should be controlled by Audacity by either the actual file size on the computer drive (say groups of files each of which is ~50 to 100 meg file size) or by the recorded time (say 10 minute segments)....

Re: How to choose input
that Audacity notices that something has been plugged in and adjusts itself accordingly. That's on the developer's "to do" list, but it's not easy to implement. If you click on "Transport menu > Rescan audio devices", then Audacity will refresh it's list of available audio devic...

That's also my assumption, but that floating palette does not interact with my Desktop icons in any way. Does it for you?

Can you give steps to reproduce this problem?

Re: Audacity 2.3.2 crashing on Windows 10 when you do equalization -> edit parameters in a macro
There were a couple of bug fixes for the Equalization effect shortly before Audacity 2.3.2 was released There were, but not this one. I've tested and the bug that you describe is still present in the release version. The Equalization effect has not yet been migrated over to the "settings"...

Re: Audacity 2.3.2 crashing on Windows 10 when you do equalization -> edit parameters in a macro
There were a couple of bug fixes for the Equalization effect shortly before Audacity 2.3.2 was released. Please update to the current release version of Audacity in case it's one of those bugs that you are seeing. Audacity 2.3.2 (release version) is available via the Audacity website: https://www.au...

Re: Black screen on replay
I guess what bothers me is my screen was flickering slightly while using Audacity, and it first blacked using Audacity. I think the fact you were using Audacity is unrelated to the black screen problem. It sounds like your video card was on it's way out, and you happened to be using Audacity at the...

Do you still have the old project?
If so, are you able to reproduce the crash using the old project?
