You can add a label while the audio is playing: "Ctrl + M" then "Enter" I doubt that you reactions are fast enough to get the exact millisecond, but probably close enough that you can stop, zoom in, and find the exact moment visually. (See here for how to zoom: https://manual.aud...

Even with light theme it still looks ugly to the eyes, this is the only app that has this problem, all other apps look nice and follow system theme. Personally I think it's far more important that Audacity is the best open source audio editor, and one of the few that is available for Linux. However...

I'm out of ideas, but as a (mostly) Linux user I'm not very familiar with the Windows permissions system, so I've asked some of the other forum crew to take a look and post if they have any ideas.

It is mounted as an SMB share, and on the NAS side, it’s a striped+mirrored zfs pool. I would have expected that to work, but I found this old topic: https://sqlite-users.sqlite.narkive.com/QCh23tfL/i-o-errors-with-wal-on-zfs So it appears that F_ALLOCSP isn't support on ZFS. I'm not sure what else to suggest. So far you have given us part of an error message that says that you do not have appropriate permissions.
