My issue is with the documentation. If an effect that is labeled to alter X (the time domain) also significantly alters Y (peak level), then that should be documented.
I have sent this for the attention of the documentation crew.

Re: Auto-Fit WIDTH and HEIGHT

Is there a way to integrate that option in next release ? There will be very few "new features" in the next release, because there is a very substantial amount of "under the hood" improvements. You are welcome to propose a new feature in this section of the forum: https://forum....

Re: Filename of a selected audio track at export time

I mean current default to export any track with the track name of the first track imported The default export name is the name of the "project" (look at the project name at the top of the main Audacity window). The default name of the project, when you import an audio track into a new, em...

Re: Auto-Fit WIDTH and HEIGHT

Current process to achieve this is the track height mouse drag process An alternative is to use the "collapse" button (https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/audio_tracks.html#collapse). Once you have the "expanded" size as big as you want, you can then toggle between expanded and ...

Re: "Change Tempo" is also increasing volume

Now it may be the case that the increased volume is an inherent property of SBSMS SBSMS does not "increase volume". The "loudness" (ie "volume") of the output is pretty close to the loudness of the input. The "limitation" is due to variable "phase delay&...

Re: "Change Tempo" is also increasing volume

Or maybe you just wanted to emphasize that this is the only possible approach. It's the only approach if you want to use SBSMS time stretch (the "high quality" algorithm) with audio that is heavily limited and you want to maintain the same loudness. It's the combination of all three thing...
