Re: Mixing Live Tracks - volume issue during transition from track to track

OK, something interesting. I've been noticing that volume changes between tracks only when I export the the project into a FLAC file to play in the car or on my phone/headphones. Re: usb mic and double input

I've just checked on Ubuntu 19.04, and as I wrote previously, there "should" be a "pulse" device listed in Audacity's audio device info. It's mysterious why it isn't listed.

Which version of Audacity are you using? (look in "Help menu > About Audacity")

Is something happening upon export???
Probably not. My guess is that it's due to differences in the playback systems.
If you'd like to upload the files somewhere (dropbox, google drive, send space, ...) I'd by happy to try them out here and let you know how they sound on my system.

Re: keyboard shortcuts don't work the way they used to

You may also notice that the number of keyboard shortcuts that are set by default has been reduced. This is to leave more keys available for custom shortcuts. The "full" set of keyboard shortcuts is also available as an option in Preferences (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/keyboa...

Re: A question about importing audio from video

Audacity assumes that the first two channels are a left/right pair. If that is not the case, you can split the track into two mono tracks as described here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/spl ... racks.html

Re: Reading of Tracks During the Execution of a Command

Which version of Audacity? (look in "Help menu > About Audacity"). What should happen in the current (2.3.2) version of Audacity, is that if you try to apply the Amplify effect to audio that has not yet loaded, an error message should be shown to say that you have to wait for the audio to ...
