Re: A macro to add silence depending on the cursor position
How can I close the Label Track Select Tracks then Remove Tracks 2. Is there a way to close a project without getting a messagebox that asks whether to save it? Undo, all the way back to the start of the project, then close. 3. Is there a way to open an MP3 by its name or path? Import2? Yes, "...

Re: How can I move around clips WITH labels within one track?
Use Cut and Paste. Mostly, Sync-Lock isn't required (unless you want to move everything together). When selecting the audio, select both the audio track and the label track so that you cut both the audio and the label together. If you have only one audio track and one label track, and the labels are...

Re: Only Right Side Output iD14?
nothing shows up under connect If there's literally "nothing" under connect, then Jack isn't running. You need to: 1) Open QjackCtl 2) Open"Setup" and configure Jack for your iD14 3) Start Jack running (steps 2 and 3 are the tricky part. Google is your friend) When you see that ...

Try setting "When importing audio files" to "Copy uncompressed files into the project (safer)".
Does that fix it?

Re: How to create a 42dBa sine wave
When you play a sine wave in Audacity (or any other player), how loud it plays depends on your amplifier and speakers as well as on the size of the sine wave signal. To create a sound wave of 42dBa, you need to generate a sound wave, play it, and adjust your amplifier until the sound is 42 dBA. In s...

Re: Only Right Side Output iD14?
The best way is to use "Jack" as your Linux audio system. Setting up Jack can be a bit difficult, though if you are lucky it can be as simple as installing QjackCtl and allowing that to pull in the necessary dependencies. (Some distributions, such as UbuntuStudio, install Jack by default)....

Re: Only Right Side Output iD14?
As with many other external audio interfaces, the iD14 has two independent input channels. Channel 1 is the "left" and channel 2 is the"right". While monitoring, channel 1 is routed through to the left side of the headphones, and channel 2 to the right. This can sound a bit weird...

Re: Mixing Live Tracks - volume issue during transition from track to track
Is it possible to label tracks within the project? Yes, that should work. You can label like this: Tracks000.png and then Export Multiple based on Labels . Note that Export Multiple defaults to "based on Tracks", so you have to override that and manually select the option to " Split ...
