Just by curiosity, would there be a way to use rubberband via a nyquist code ? No, but If you have access to a Linux operating system, there is a LADSPA version of RubberBand that works with Audacity. I've just run a quick test, and Audacity's Change Pitch effect seems to give better sound quality.

WAV format has a 4GB limit (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAV#Limitations)
If you want to keep a lossless copy that is bigger than that, export as FLAC or RF64. (FLAC format is the same quality as WAV and RF64, but only about 60% of the file size).

Did you obtain Audacity via the Audacity website (https://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/) or somewhere else? Audacity doesn't use a DDE server, so either you have a modified version of Audacity, or something else is interfering with Audacity. Is your anti-virus up to date? When did you last ...

If you want to paste audio only, ensure that only the audio track is selected.
No, it's not a bug.

There's an option in Preferences:
"Edit menu > Preferences > Interface => Retain labels if selection snaps to a label"
Enable that option.
