Record your sound, put about 4 or 5 seconds of silence at the beginning, reverse the sound, use Gverb with these settings: Roomsize: 40 m² Reverb time: 20 s Damping: 0.50 Input bandwidth: 0.75 Dry signal level: 0 dB Early reflection level: -10 dB Tail level: -30 dB Then reverse the sound again. Hey, I figured it out. And it's more voice than voice edit, it seems. Impersinate archon as best as possible, then play with reverb and echoe a bit.

A voice edit question.
If anyone here has played Starcraft and remembers the very cool sounding voice the Protoss Archon has, can you please give me some advice on how to pull that off with audacity? I imagine it would take a number of steps that may involve GVerb or some such, but I still can't seem to get it even close ...
