Re: Newbie wants a nice reverb
Have a look at this page on the Audacity wiki: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/GVerb It has good suggestions for using GVerb, as well as a link to the Anwida Soft DX Reverb Light (free), which is a much nicer reverb. -- Bill I would definitely recommend the Anwida reverb. It sounds terrific and h...

Re: manual not loading
I have a similar problem. Windows XP SP3.
My folder structure is C:/Program Files/Audacity/help/manual.
The html files are all in "manual". A minor problem, but I would like to get it sorted.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

How to nudge the cursor?
I'm surprised that I can't work this out, as I've used lots of audio editing software and this is a fundamental function. How do I nudge the cursor just a tiny amount in Audacity? I just can't seem to be able to do it.
BTW many thanks to the creators of this great program.
Thanks,

Re: imput volume
Nobody seems to be addressing the problem that the poster has, that the meter shoots back up to maximum after he reduces the level. This suggests to me that there is feedback (a loop between input and output) happening somewhere in his setup.

Moving cursor in Audacity
I'm having a problem with the basic task of moving the cursor in the editing window. It always seems to go into select mode when I try to move it. I'm obviously missing something very obvious! Help would be appreciated. The help file is lacking in this area. This is some of the best free software I'...
