I notice the Audacity Manual has a section on Noise Removal and a search of the forum shows several topics that mention NR. Thanks for the reply. I'll check out some of those other options.
I'm still confused with the listing of "Phone" along with all the other input options. Also, I can't find anything in the manual or tutorial that mentions the use of "Phone".

PS: I see that Audacity does have a Phone option. Where/How do you connect the phone line?

I'm having mixed results connecting the phone line to my cpu microphone input . One tape recorder controller works but with a lot of line static (possibly from all the electronics around). The other, connects to the phone handset which doesn't work at all when connected to the mike input. Both phone...

Several of us meet weekly for a conference call and it is my job to record the call for later transcription and distribution.
My voice is always much louder than the incoming voices. Is there any way to boost just the level of the incoming voices relative to mine?
